Warm clothes, snowballfights and mulled wine! That sounds like the start of a great winterseason! When the trees start to loose their coat and the mountain peaks slowly turn white, the locals already get their skies out! Skiing, snowboarding, snowshoehiking, crosscountryskiing, tobogganing or just buidling a snowman, whatever out guests like to do in the winter, here in the Wildschönau it is possible. For all those who love to ski and snowboard, the skiing area Skijuwel Alpbachtal Wilschönau is directly in front of the door. The skiing area offers 109km of slopes, 25 rural mountain huts and 2 adventurous funparks. The little ones are perfectly taken care of at one of the many skischools and can even be co-pilot in one of the snow groomers. Guests who are more of a casual winterholiday type can participate in guided snowshoehikes offered by the tourism board Wildschönau.
Our guests can reach the gondola into the skiing area and therefore also the valley run within 5 minutes of walking distance from the Haus Daniela. Also the center of the village, restaurants and bars as well as the free skibus station are not far away. For our guests we offer parking directly infront of the house.
